| My wife Collette brought me an Indian Cookery course
for my 31st birthday. What a great present! Much better than the
usual things you might expect when you get into your thirties. The course started September 2004 and lasted for 16-20 weeks so by Christmas I was a whiz in the kitchen and able to save a few quid a month by cooking at home :) There was no turkey for Christmas that year. The course was held at the Adult Education Centre in Rochester, Kent and was only one of the many courses that the centre had to offer. All-in-all, I'd thoroughly recommend to anyone to do an evening course like this. It is a great way of learning, getting to meet new people and having a chat about something in which you share a common interest. No one is expecting to make a whole bunch of new life-long friend, just to enjoy the time whilst they are on the course; which is exactly what I wanted. |
